Coaching Is Not Therapy or Clinical Treatment

George Gumbrell Coaching does not provide therapy, counseling, diagnosis, mental health treatment, crisis care, medical advice, legal advice, financial advice, or any licensed clinical service.

Coaching is future-focused, collaborative, and action-oriented. It is not a substitute for professional medical, mental health, legal, financial, or crisis support.

If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, crisis, or immediate safety concern, contact emergency services, a licensed professional, or an appropriate crisis resource in your area.

No Guaranteed Results
​
Coaching can support clarity, structure, accountability, decision-making, and progress, but results are not guaranteed. Outcomes depend on many factors, including the client’s choices, effort, follow-through, circumstances, and timing.

Client Responsibility
​
Clients remain responsible for their own choices, actions, decisions, and results. Coaching conversations may include reflection, perspective, strategy, questions, and suggested next steps, but all decisions and actions remain the client’s responsibility.

Clarity Calls and Beginning a Coaching Relationship
​
A Clarity Call is a complimentary introductory conversation. It is not therapy, counseling, crisis support, or a coaching session, and it does not create a coaching relationship.
​
A coaching relationship begins only after both parties agree to work together, the applicable coaching agreement is signed, and the first required payment is received. Any required intake, onboarding, and scheduling steps will be completed as part of that process.

Confidentiality
​
George Gumbrell Coaching treats client conversations and information with care and discretion. Confidentiality is subject to the terms of the applicable coaching agreement and may be limited by legal, safety, or essential business-recordkeeping obligations.

Because coaching engagements reserve time, preparation, and capacity, these terms may vary by engagement and are confirmed before paid work begins. The applicable signed agreement governs the terms of the engagement.
